New addition to my wardrobe a classic linen jacket

New addition to my wardrobe a classic linen jacket.

These photos were taken during the last day of our recent trip to Grimaud. The weather had just started to show signs of Spring and early Summer. On a recent trip to St.Tropez I fell for this lovely pale blue linen jacket at the Benetton shop situated in one of the narrow back streets of the village. I loved the colour and reckon that it will fit well into my summer wardrobe. It looks lovely teamed with my very old classic white jeans, a plain white tee and white sneakers.

I reckon that my new blazer will go just as well with black and navy if I want to ring the changes. In the photo above I have added a navy shopper. This was a present from my friend in South Africa. I have found similar below.

New addition to my wardrobe a classic linen jacket

I thought I would check through my old blog posts and my last blue linen jacket which I originally bought from Zara wore out a few years ago.

My scarf was originally from St,Tropez market a few years ago.

Thank you for all your well wishes. I am currently having lots of physio and my new hip is progressing slowly.

I love this jacket. The navy bag breaks the blue and well beautifully.

You look lovely in this soft blue, Josephine. I agree that it’s a versatile color, and can be styled with so many other pieces. Sadly, the Benetton closest to me closed down during Covid, and I really miss it. I hope you’re feeling a little better each day!

      Hi Bren
Benetton have a good website so you could always order on line. Luckily we still have a branch in Kingston

Lovely jacket, the colour suits you well. And the bag adds to the outfit. Good luck with the hip, I had mine done a few years ago.

This pale blue colour is perfect on you. So feminine and elegant. I too am recovering from a joint replacement so I can emphasize with what you are going through.

Beautiful color in your jacket…goes wonderfully well with your hair. Sorry but I must have missed your e-mail about your “new hip.” So happy it is doing well. Good for you!

This linen jacket seems quite amazing. When it comes to good quality clothing, fabric matters a lot. Thank you very much. It would be nice if you share more information on this.
