Keep warm this winter with thermal underwear

Keep warm this winter with thermal underwear.

Uniqlo has some of the best thermal underwear. Their HEATTECH thermal (US link) clothing and thermal underwear are some of the best on the market. I already own a couple of their turtleneck long-sleeved tops (US link). I am planning on buying another one. If you want to keep really warm you can wear them under your wool or cashmere v and round neck sweaters and cardigans. They also now offer a fleece-lined option (US link) I will also be buying a couple of pairs of their Heattech socks (US link).

Details of above:

Crew neck thermal top Uniqlon || Thermal polo neck Uniqlo || Heatgen thermal top Marksandspencer || Thermaskin long sleeve base layer Lands’ End || Cream thermal vest (also available in black) JohnLewis&Partners || Heat generating thermal leggings JohnLewis&Partners.

JohnLewis&partners also offer a good range of thermal underwear.

Lands end USA has a range of silk thermal underwear. I have had silk before and really like the feel. They are a bit more luxurious.

MarksandSpenser (US link) also have a good range of Heatgen thermal underwear

I have also just bought a pair of Ugg boots to keep my feet cosy. Uggs are available here at Nordstrom.

I am just beginning to recover from a very heavy cold which has lasted on and off for about two weeks. I have been very grateful for my thermal vests and my Ugg boots as I snuggled up on the sofa watching Netflix.

It is early; however I am beginning to think of Christmas presents. At the moment I don’t feel like going out to the shops so I will be doing lots of surfing from my sofa.

Black Friday sales have started really early this year so I hope to be finding some great bargains:

John Lewis – Good for fashion, electrical and beauty.

Nordstrom – holiday deals till 29th November.

MarksandSpencer – Good for Christmas decorations and food and wine as well as fashion.

La Redoute – 50% off everything.

Look Fantastic – Where I buy most of my cosmetics. 50% off selected items.

Leggings are my mainstay in cooler weather. I tend to wear dresses or skirts rather than pants so they keep me so cosy! I will check out the ones you feature. Thanks!

I recommend Patra Silks for silk underwear . Very good value for the warmth ie cost of the comfort . Also very thin and light so good for packing and for extra layers underneath the visible clothing layers ie top, sweater , coat etc .

I agree that Uniqlo’s HEATTECH line is very good. I had never heard of the Thermaskin line at Lands End. Thanks for this post. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I’ve had thermal tops for years, which are still going strong, (M&S included) but returned a pack of their latest ones @ £26 for 2. They had no thermal value; thin and cold.
