How to transition into Spring with a touch of colour

How to transition into Spring with a touch of colour. At last Spring is here and the blossom is out. I could not resist wearing my oversized pink silk shirt which perfectly reflects the blossom on the trees. My lightweight silk shirt is from Mango (last year). If you are looking for an oversized shirt they have an excellent selection. I have displayed a few at the bottom of this post. I have paired it with my black waistcoat also from Mango. You can see how I wear it underneath my favourite pink jacket here.

A classic shirt is a great addition to any wardrobe especially now as we continue to spend so much time on Zoom and FaceTime. Just add a flattering coloured shirt and nobody knows what else you are wearing. Apparently mixing high-low aesthetic has been christened the new “work leisure”. Shirts can be worn on their own, styled under a waistcoat as in the image or layered under a coat or jacket. Oversized is the shirt style of the season however you can always size down if you want your shirt to fit more snuggly.

A good quality shirt will always look chic and stylish. It is a timeless piece that we never tire of. It looks just as good worn casually with a pair of jeans as it does under a formal jacket.

Charming outfit. I like how the classic shirt becomes feminine when done in pink silk and how you paired it with a menwear-inspired vest and a chunky necklace. I love pink, especially with black and white.
