Fashion advice for women over 40+ Handbags at bargain prices

For a couple of weeks now I have been searching for a new Spring handbag to replace one I have had for a few years now, it is looking a little worn and frayed (not in a good way) round the edges.

My taste in bags is classic with a twist, no logos and without embellishments. However I do like good quality so I decided to check out THE OUTNET which I have not visited for a while.  They currently have some fantastic bags with up to 50% discount. So I have made a selection that I thought you might be interested in.

Great choices! I finally found a good option for work days, a modified bucket in a taupe color. But I’m still looking for a smaller shoulder/crossbody bag for weekends.

My favorite – No 2 by Marc Jacobs has sold out – oh well, nice to know that many others appreciate the beauty of this bag! Great choices…

There are some beautiful bags here, but I would rather purchase a bag from a local leather bag (design and fabrication) studio: gorgeous and practical design, high quality leather and other materials and less expensive than any of these options. “Designer” handbags simply cost more than I’m willing to spend on a handbag.

I am with you, Leslie from Oregon – these are very highend bags – you can get the same styles for a lot less. Some more economical choices would be nice.

I’ve really become a fan of cross body bags! Never thought I would say that…but they are just so easy and useful, and, if small enough, very stylish. My fav at the moment is a classic Kate Spade. On the other hand, I also like the large, loose bags a la Longchamp!
