Gifts for women

Christmas gifts for women

I find that buying gifts for women is the easiest and fun part of Christmas. I really enjoy buying presents for my daughter, daughter in law and female friends. All the presents I have selected above I would love to receive myself and quite a few I already own.

A few years ago my husband bought me the towelling robe from The White Company. I am still wearing it today and love it. The primers from LookFabulousforever I use every day and they are lifesavers for keeping my make-up in place. Les Bohemiennes fresh Provence basket and lavender candle remind me of the scents of the South of France. A neutral eyeshadow palette and makeup brushes are always useful. I must have a look for my cashmere bedsocks, they are so cosy in the cold winter months.

Gifts for women details of above:

Top row: Grey towelling dressing gown (also available in white / Black shoulder bag Boden / primer beauty kit Lookfabulousforever / Pink cashmere bedsocks.

Middle row: Green flower necklace Nordstrom / Les Bohemiennes – Fresh Provence basket Bastide/ Drybar blowdryer Nordstrom / Make-up brush set

Bottom rowFragonard rose eau de toilette / Miele de Lavande candle Bastide/ Black purse / Eye shadow set.

Another couple of items that I personally find very useful and that I think would make good gifts.

I could not be without my Aquis rapid dry hair turban. I use it every time I wash my hair. It helps keep my hair smooth because it is designed to be kinder to the hair than ordinary rough towels. It also cuts down on hair drying time which can also be damaging to delicate hair. Aquis hair towels and turbans.

I would not like to be without my Foreo. I have had one for several years. I find it less rough than the Clarisonic brush I used to use and is even more effective for deeply cleansing my skin every evening. Foreo currently has a sale with up to 50% off. I am tempted to buy another one to keep down in France. Boots also stock a selection of Foreo and currently has discounts on some models.

Disclaimer: The Aquis fast dry turban was gifted to me to try. I can highly recommend it especially if you have long hair.

A large selection of the scarves at Chicatanyage shop are still on sale. The lightweight wool scarves make great gifts for both men and women.

There was a technical error in publishing my last post Gifts for Children for which I apologise. It is now up and working. If you click here you can see my selection.

Interested to know how much you like the Foreo. I’ve been using Clarisonic, with the softest brush they make, the Cashmere, for over a year now and just love it. No complaints at all. But I need something smaller and more portable for travel!

I love to hear from you please leave a comment
