Trench coats are ideal for early Autumn and beyond.

Trench coats warm colour palette

It seems strange writing this post as the temperatures rise to about 28 degrees and we are enjoying an Indian summer. Yet I am fully aware that the nights are drawing in. I am not quite ready to get my Winter coats out of mothballs. Trench coats are ideal for early Autumn and beyond.

The best trench coats are lifelong keepers—the kind of trusty wardrobe staple you know is ready and waiting whenever you need it. Designers are re-creating trench coats in some exciting ways this season. I have owned an oversized trench coat since 2017; however this time round I am contemplating adding a more conventional trench coat to my wardrobe. One that will last me at least ten years.

In the first collage I have put to together a warm palette.

This is more my taste. I love the navy wrap trench featured above. I already own the Hush joggers and find them extremely comfortable. Some of you have commented that you are not fans of joggers which I do understand. Personally I love wearing them at home with a colourful blouse or sweater or dressing them up with a tailored jacket.

I have just purchased a pair of Veja trainers. The manufacturers work closely with farms and factories to ensure that their sneakers are made responsibly. I have been meaning to add a pair to my wardrobe for some time. They seem to have become an iconic classic, that is if you are a fan of trainers.

Do you own a trench coat or is it a piece you are contemplating adding to your wardrobe?

I love the navy trench coat you featured and would buy it but unfortunately they don’t carry a size 16 women’s. Please include stores that do for me in the future. Thank you for your understanding! Natalie

      Hello Natalie
I do my best to cover as many sizes as possible. When I clicked on the link for the navy Hobbs trench coat in the collage it is showing in a size 16.

I love to hear from you please leave a comment
