Our first trip to the Brocante this year

The new year’s Brocante was a treasure trove of “goodies” this year. The sun was shining as it has been the past few days and the local Brocante was buzzy. A picture says a thousand words so I will leave you to enjoy.

Loved this vase but it was a bit pricey

My friend bought this chair for 40 euros. It will look great in her house

This is coming back with me to London where it will be repainted a subtle Farrow and Ball Greige

I love these pictures. They are asking quite a lot of money for them. One day I will get one

The French do like their furs especially vintage ones

A great variety of superb glasswork

You can find similar cabinets at Maison du Monde and Mirrors

A selection of vintage jewellery and handbags

Des Femmes encore!

I do love a French fleamarket – the vase and the ‘Bar des femmes’ pictures are lovely. Did you haggle?

I’ll have one of each, thank you. Lovely. The “Bar des Femmes” would be perfect over my wine rack. Happy hunting!

Yes I did haggle and got quite a lot of euros off the red table.
Can’t afford the pictures at the moment but an saving up. Also need smaller size as those ones were too big for my wall.
