Classic sales bargains this week-end

Coats from Ann Taylor

Classic sales bargains this week-end.

We don’t celebrate Labour day here in the UK. That however has not stopped me from surfing the net and finding some great Labour Day sales bargains and wishing that we had something similar over here.

Remember the rules:-

Only buy what you need to fill a gap in your wardrobe

Buy forward – Something you are going to wear this autumn

Buy Classic – And what could be more classic than a utilitarian navy blazer.

I never considered ‘buying forward’ before. Is that because by next Summer I will have changed my mind? The red coat above is gorgeous.

      Hi Lorna mai
You can buy forward for next summer and I often do if there is for example a pair of classic linen trousers in the sale that will replace a pair that is worn out. Now stores are offering sales on new season, which they never used to do, I find buying something that you can wear now prevents the temptation of buying a “trendy” item just because it has such a big markdown and may look out of fashion by next year.
