Winser London – A fashion brand for all ages

Winser London was launched in 2013 by the charming and extremely talented Kim Winser OBE.

Kim is one of the UK’s most internationally renowned and inspirational business women. She has previously worked at Marks & Spencer, Pringle of Scotland and Aquascutum.  She was awarded a Doctorate by Heriot-Watt University in 2003, and an Order of British Empire by the Queen for her services to British Fashion in the 2006 New Year’s honours list.

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Kim at her west London offices a few weeks ago.

I love Kim’s philosophy “It is not about age it is about a sense of style”. The Winser London collection can be worn by any age “It should not matter what age you are, it is how you wear the pieces”

Kim’s style is self explanatory,  just click here and take a look at the range. Winser London is primarily an online brand. This allows for the highest proportion of the price that the customer pays to go into producing the product. No high rents and rates for retail shops just fantastic quality fabric and design. If you are looking to create a stylish versatile hard working wardrobe look no further. Kim’s talented team of designers cleverly adapt the current “runway” looks to our busy lifestyles. The collection features perfect desk-to-dinner dresses and relaxed separates.

I hope you like this brand as much as I do. Clothes for “real” grown-up women.

Chicatanyage

I write a fashion and beauty blog for women over 50 with the aim of inspiring mature women to continue to enjoy and have fun with their fashion choices. I have spent most of my working life in some way connected to fashion. I started my career in Fashion PR and then trained as an Image Consultant when my children were young. I subsequently worked in the corporate world running seminars, doing private coaching and speaking at conferences. I started my blog in 2009 as I wanted to share my years of experience working in the world of fashion. I truly believe we can continue to have confidence in the way we present ourselves. Our style may evolve with time and changing lifestyles, yet with a little knowledge and inspiration, we can all continue to have fun with fashion. As women of a certain age we are a growing demographic let us prove that we can also be a chic one.
