Pop of colour on the beach

Pop of colour on the beach

I love colour in the winter months. The addition of the bright red sweater lifts the otherwise dark outfit. It adds a pop of colour. I am wearing black trousers with a sleeveless navy coat. Yes I do combine black and navy and often wear this combination. Both navy and black, usually in the form of trousers, are staples in my wardrobe.

The significant aspect of this outfit is in the details. Details in my opinion make all the difference. With the careful use of accessories an ordinary “look” becomes something personal and special.

Here I have added a fake fur collar and some burgundy coloured drop earrings.

These photos were taken on the beach in bright sunshine. We are lucky to have a beautiful beach about twenty minutes away from where we have a small apartment in France.

Just love that fake fur collar! I always…always…wear scarves or pashmina but that collar would be so perfect!

      Hi Sure
Not sure what other shoes I might have worn for a picnic on the beach. The sand is quite rough so I would have ruined by black ankle boots and it was way too cold for beach sandals. My black trainers might have looked better but they are in London.
