Inspirational interview series and free ebook on style

Butterfly image by Emma Holt

I wanted to start 2021 with an inspirational interview series hosted by Sheree Clark. This series will include an interview with me and my free ebook on “How to be chic at any age your way”. A wide range of subjects will be covered during these interviews. They will include experts talking about how we can continue to look and feel our best as we grow older. In my video I will be talking with Sheree Clark, founder of The Magnificent Midlife Woman, about how to continue to look chic and stylish.

This will be as much a journey of discovery for me as it will be for you. I do not know in advance who the other participating bloggers will be. I am always open to exploring new ideas. Like anything else in life some of these interviews will appeal to you and some may not and that is ok. At least we have explored.

Inspirational interview series and free ebook on style

To give you a sneak preview, when we pre-recorded my interview with the host Sheree Clark, this is what she said about me:

“When it comes to fashion, it often feels like the focus is always on what’s youthful and new. But here at The Magnificent Midlife Woman we’re inspired by women of every age, which is why I invited Josephine Lalwan, founder of the popular fashion blog Chic at Any Age to join us. With decades of knowledge in the fashion industry under her belt, this former image consultant and corporate trainer and coach has great advice to offer when it comes to style, confidence and even reinvention.”

Just a couple of the things I addressed in the interview:

  • My thoughts on the term “age-appropriate dressing”
  • A few good beauty tips
  • How to pack—when we start travelling again

The series is called The Magnificent Midlife Woman: Awaken Your Spirit, Heal Your Body and Live Your Best Life and it starts January 15th.

Sheree, who is a Midlife Courage Coach, asked me some insightful questions and I am hoping you’ll tune in to hear my answers! Just go here and you’ll be a part of the fun. I’ll remind you of the date of my interview towards the end of January. It will include the sign-up form to my new ebook.

I’ll be interested to hear what you think about this inspirational series and my free ebook.

As always, thank you for following me and being a part of this community. I really hope that you will enjoy this series

I write a fashion and beauty blog for women over 50 with the aim of inspiring mature women to continue to enjoy and have fun with their fashion choices. I have spent most of my working life in some way connected to fashion. I started my career in Fashion PR and then trained as an Image Consultant when my children were young. I subsequently worked in the corporate world running seminars, doing private coaching and speaking at conferences. I started my blog in 2009 as I wanted to share my years of experience working in the world of fashion. I truly believe we can continue to have confidence in the way we present ourselves. Our style may evolve with time and changing lifestyles, yet with a little knowledge and inspiration, we can all continue to have fun with fashion. As women of a certain age we are a growing demographic let us prove that we can also be a chic one.

    • Hello Jacqueline

My interview will not be until about 22nd January, I will remind you of exactly when nearer the time. I think you will have to sign up to the series to watch it. I am working on putting a sign up form for the ebook on my website if I can make it work technically.

  • Looking forward to the Series and your interview. Your ebook will be especially appreciated during this time, especially since we are in lockdown at the moment - and for how long? Who knows.

  • Thank you, Josephine, I am looking forward to your interview! All best to you and your family!
