How to dress a cream top for day and evening

Hope cream top and black trousers

Last week-end we spent Saturday with friends in the beautiful Nottinghampshire countryside. On Sunday we travelled to Derbyshire and booked into the Cavendish Hotel, Baslow. This traditional and elegant hotel is part of the Chatsworth Estate.

I was glad I had just bought this lovely cream top from Hopefashion. It packs like a dream and is a versatile piece. It can be worn  during the day. Then add a pair of skinny black trousers by MeandEm and black heels for a more dressy look. MeandEm currently have 30% off selected items. I have accessorised my outfit with several strings of pearls twisted together similar. For a different look you can tuck the underneath layer inside the trousers. This works particularly well with wide trousers. The cream top is currently in the HopeFashion sale. Original price £65.00 reduced to £32.50. A great 50% reduction so I bought one in black as well. Hope do ship internationally.

I love how you styled your pearls—very inventive? And of course, I love the top…it reminds me of the one my step mom is wearing on our blog. jodie

Such a pretty top! I love the layered effect, and also how you’ve arranged your necklace.
