Dressing for the festive season

This may be the season of good will however it is also the season of rush, rush, rush with a very busy few weeks leading up to Christmas. We all have gift shopping and food shopping to do, not to mention those parties and events to attend. So it is wise to get prepared in advance.

When buying special occasion wear, the first question to ask yourself is how formal is the party going to be. Do you need a full length dress or will you be going straight from work to a drinks do?

One of the questions I get asked frequently is –  where do I find a dress with sleeves?  so all the dresses I have chosen here have sleeves.

Loving the lipsticks! And the blue dress. Fun with the red scarf too…I have a dress like that black long one.

I have the blue dress by Damsel in a Dress, in the 2nd option. It is, in fact, bright blue and not dark navy as shown. Nevertheless a lovely useful dress as not too formal.

Hi Linda Thanks for letting me know. Sometimes the colour of an image does not exactly match the real thing. It sounds even nicer in a brighter blue.
